Responsibilities:
- legal support of the banking business (lending, independent guarantees, etc.);
- corporate legal work, including amendments to the Charter, capital increase, preparing documents for the sole shareholder, the Board of Directors and the Management Board, preparation of reports on the end beneficiaries under the CBR 345-P regulation, legal support of the appointment procedure for the officers of the bank under the CBR 408-P regulation, etc.;
- advising on non-standard issues concerning the opening and operation of bank accounts, i.a. correspondent accounts, for Russian and foreign counterparties, issues of operation of the payment system;
- legal methodology (participation in drafting of internal banking regulations, standard contract forms);
- legal support of the new areas of the bank’s business (securities and retail);
- advising on other issues arising in banking: utility agreements, labor law, currency control, AML, personal data protection, correspondence with the CBR, requests of state agencies, etc.
Requirements:
- higher legal education from reputable university;
- min. 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with banks;
- fluent English;
- analytical thinking;
- good writing skills.
